About Position:
The primary role of a Counter employee is to efficiently take customer orders, process payments, and handle orders both in the restaurant and through various online ordering platforms. Additionally, this position involves greeting and seating guests, as well as assisting with the packaging, labeling, and preparation of to-go and carryout orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and create a positive first impression
- Seat guests efficiently and manage guest flow during busy periods
- Take customer orders accurately at the counter and over the phone
- Enter and manage orders through the POS system
- Process payments, including cash, credit/debit cards, and digital payments
- Handle orders from third-party online ordering and delivery platforms
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
- Package to-go and delivery orders neatly and correctly
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked counter and front-of-house area
- Answer guest questions regarding menu items, ingredients, and promotions
- Resolve minor guest concerns professionally and escalate when needed
- Follow all food safety, cash-handling, and company policies
Job Requirements:
