Reporting to the General Supervisor, Training, you will be part of the Training Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health and Safety Code of Conduct, and the environment.
Responsible for the corporate or external audit process (follow-up, compliance plan, etc.);
Support Nunavut’s operations training and development plan creation, revision and implementation (Career Path Development);
Participate in, and support the creation of, various training programs (e-learning, traditional training, etc.);
Support training activities;
Manage external training, planning, organization and follow-up;
Support the Nunavut training team members on various tasks and projects;
Management of the Nunavut Training Revision process;
Development and revision of Nunavut Training Procedures;
Support of the Nunavut Learning Management System;
Other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Bachelor’s Degree in Administration, Human Resources, Industrial Relations or other related field;
3-5 years of experience in a similar role;
Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications, especially Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Note that the official working language at Meadowbank Complex is English.
Your Work Schedule:
Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. A combination of tele-working with presence at our offices in either Val-d’Or, Rouyn-Noranda or Mirabel, QC. Occasional visits to site may also be required;
Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides charter flights to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
