Provide clinical counseling and case management services consistent with individualized treatment plans for youth with mental health and/or substance use disorders; conduct intakes, assessments, facilitate groups and individual sessions, participate in treatment team meetings, complete required documentation, and support clients through transitions while adhering to regulatory and agency standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct timely intakes, screenings, and comprehensive assessments to inform individualized treatment planning
• Develop, implement, and revise client treatment plans that reflect assessment findings and measurable goals
• Provide individual counseling, group counseling, family conferences, and educational groups focused on recovery and functioning
• Facilitate client transitions and prepare transition summaries, plans, and correspondence
• Participate actively in clinical staffing and multidisciplinary treatment team meetings, contributing clinical insights
• Manage caseload responsibilities including timely documentation, chart correction, and ensuring notes reference treatment plans
• Respond professionally to crisis situations and provide appropriate stabilization interventions
• Maintain positive relationships with referral sources, clients, and coworkers while adhering to ethical and agency standards
• Meet required training and continuing education standards (state-specific requirements), and represent the agency in the community

Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
• Missouri: Master’s or bachelor’s degree (non-licensed) in a human services field, and/or certified/credentialed to provide services within scope of practice
• Hold credentials of a Qualified Addiction Professional as defined by the Missouri Credentialing Board, Inc. (e.g., CADC, CRADC, CRAADC, CCJP, RADC-P, RADC, CCDP, CCDP-D) OR hold credentials of a Qualified Mental Health Professional as defined by MCB
• Kansas applicants: credentials as defined by the Kansas Behavioral Science Regulatory Board (e.g., LAC or LCAC) or appropriate state board
• Willingness to obtain additional state credentials and provide telehealth services as required
• Demonstrated knowledge of caseload management, rehabilitation methods, and modalities related to mental health and substance use disorder treatment

Supervisory Requirements:None
• Successful completion of background checks (criminal, driving, abuse/neglect, fingerprint)
• Current driver’s license in state of residency, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance
• First Aid and CPR certification within three months of hire (and maintained)
• Behavioral management training (CPI for residential or Peaceful Intervention/Verbal De-escalation for outpatient) within30 daysof hire or first available class
• Completion of new hire orientation and required Relias training; meet state training hour requirements (e.g.,50 hoursannually Missouri;40 hoursevery 2 years with 3 hours Ethics Kansas)
• Willingness to provide proof of applicable certifications/licenses

Physical Requirements
• Sedentary work: exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of forcefrequently; primarily sitting with occasional walking or standing; meets ADA considerations.
