We are looking for a qualified and compassionate Counsellor (Psychologist) to support the mental health and well-being of undergraduate students. The role involves providing individual and group counselling, applying evidence-based psychotherapies, and conducting workshops on mental health and wellness. Key Responsibilities
Provide face-to-face counselling to students on campus
Offer online counselling sessions as required
Conduct individual and group therapy sessions
Apply evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy
Support students dealing with emotional, academic, and behavioural challenges, including addictions
Organize and conduct workshops, webinars, and awareness programs on mental health topics
Participate in crisis intervention and management when needed
Develop and facilitate mental health content and programs
Maintain accurate records of counselling sessions, including monthly client intake and documentation
Ensure confidentiality and ethical standards in all counselling practices
Strong understanding of psychological counselling techniques and mental health issues
Ability to apply psychotherapies in real-life scenarios
High level of empathy, integrity, and professionalism
Educational Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Psychology (full-time) with specialization in Clinical or Counselling Psychology from a reputed institute
Professional Certifications
Certified in counselling courses from a recognized/prestigious institute
Certification and supervised training in CBT and REBT (preferably under experts associated with the Albert Ellis Institute or equivalent)
Professional Experience
Minimum 1 year of practical experience in counselling
Experience working with undergraduate or university-level students
Proven experience in handling sensitive issues with confidentiality
Experience in conducting workshops on mental health topics
