The Clinician may be responsible for providing any of the following services: trauma informed individual, family, couples/marital, group counseling, and/or psychoeducational training, presentations, or workshops to clients. The clinician is responsible for completing documentation, reporting requirements and maintaining professional licensure. This position may be assigned to provide oversight and/or serve as a preceptor to graduate level interns. The successful candidate should have strong communication skills, organizational skills, and time management skills. As an employee of Catholic Charities, it is expected that the Clinician become familiar with the Catholic Social Teachings and promote the integration of these values into the program’s services.What you DeliverClinical Services: Utilizes clinical skills including screening, conducting assessment, diagnosis, documentation, developing and implementing treatment plans, providing referrals; reporting abuse and/or neglect, or suspicion of such safety concerns to the appropriate authorities. May provide individual and/or group counseling. Participates and provides in workshops and presentations and may supervise an assigned intern/student to ensure compliance with ethical practices and promote professional growth. Participate in all mandatory agency, funder or regulatory meeting. Participate in case staffing and consultation. Documentation: Completes required documentation of client progress within required timeframes, maintaining client records in accordance with regulatory/agency standards. Completing data entry tasks associated with tracking measurable outcomes and performance management.Professional Development: Participate in training and maintain professional licensure per position/funder requirements. Provide training and presentations as required by your supervisor, program, agency and/or funder.Networking and Outreach: Participates in interagency and community networking, outreach, and program promotion opportunities. Contributes to the development of strong interagency partnerships by serving clients referred by fellow agency programs and regularly communicating with client case managers and other staff to provide effective treatment. Performs other duties as required such as participating in staff retreats, United Way tours, agency fairs and speaking engagements, assisting with special organizational projects/events, etc.

QualificationsThe Expertise We're Looking ForMaster’s Degree in mental health field, (Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage & Family Therapy)Licensed by the State of Texas and in good standing with the respective board as:License Professional Counselor (LPC), orLicense Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), orLicense Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)Minimum of 2 years of experience providing direct clinical services in a mental health settingBilingual in Spanish in English.Valid Texas Driver’s LicenseThe Skills and Assets You Bring, and MoreStrong verbal and written communication skills.- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines concurrently. Ability to properly handle and maintain confidential information. Interacts with peers, supervisors, and administrators in a respectful and professional manner. Ability to work well within a team and provide services with an integrated approach. Approaches challenges with a solution-focused approach and maintains a positive attitude. Ability to gather, track, and report large quantities of data; must be well organized and timely.
