Known as employers of choice for innovative human resources programs, they are dedicated to helping their clients and people excel.Work you’ll doActs as a trusted advisor, providing legal and business advice to engagement teams, business leaders, quality risk managers, and other stakeholders in connection with matters of significance to the Deloitte U.S. Firms.Illustrative Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvides legal and business risk advice regarding contractual terms, client relations and practice and compliance matters.Works with practitioners to help identify and mitigate engagement risks.Reviews and/or revises contracts, such as engagement agreements, subcontract agreements, license agreements, confidentiality agreements, third party access letters, client policies and other related agreements.Negotiates contract terms with clients, subcontractors, vendors, non-client third parties and others.Provides critical analysis of legal and business risks, negotiation strategies, client relations and practice and compliance matters.Performs other job-related duties as assigned.Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.The successful candidate would possess these skills:Individual must be a self-starter, who is able to work on a broad range of client engagements and practice matters.Individual must be articulate, possess strong analytic, critical thinking and writing skills, be able to manage and prioritize multiple projects, apply good judgment, and be capable of providing creative solutions.Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a teamEffective written and verbal communication skillsMeticulous attention to detail and quality of work productAbility to build and sustain professional relationshipsAbility to lead projects or workstreamsAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentStrong interpersonal skills and professional demeanorAbility to meet deadlinesAbility to mentor and provide clear guidance to othersQualificationsRequired:JD or LLM from an accredited US law schoolLicensed to practice law in the United States.3 or more years of legal experience (including experience at a large law firm or equivalent organization).Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.Ability to travel 0-10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
