Job Description

Circuit of The Americas (COTA) is a 365-entertainment destination for world-class events located in Austin, TX. The sports and entertainment portfolio at COTA is unmatched in the country with Formula 1 US Grand Prix, NASCAR and MotoGP attracting global fans during championship races on the famed Circuit and Live Nation producing over 30 headline concerts every year at the Germania Insurance Amphitheater. COTALAND is an amusement park with over 30 attractions and experiences, including first-of-their-kind roller coasters.

COTALAND is seeking a dependable Park Services Night Supervisor to lead the nightly cleaning and park reset operation. This is a working leadership position responsible for assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and actively assisting the crew with cleaning and special projects.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the Night Park Services Crew during closing operations.
  • Assign nightly tasks and ensure work is completed efficiently and to COTALAND standards.
  • Actively assist with washing walkways, power washing, restroom deep cleaning, trash removal, and other cleaning projects.
  • Ensure equipment, supplies, and chemicals are used safely and properly.
  • Inspect completed work and address areas requiring additional attention.
  • Communicate operational issues, maintenance needs, and incomplete work to Park Services management.
  • Coach and support Crew Members while maintaining a positive, accountable work environment.
  • Assist with special projects and extended cleaning assignments as needed.
  • Ensure the park is properly cleaned and reset for the following operating day.

Basic Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Dependable, organized, and able to lead by example.
  • Comfortable performing physically demanding cleaning work.
  • Ability to operate or learn to operate pressure washers and other cleaning equipment.
  • Must be available for evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak operating periods.
  • This is a short closing shift, generally ending around 12:00 AM–1:00 AM. Longer shifts may be scheduled for special projects or operational needs.
  • Ability to stand, sit, use hands to handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms.
  • Ability to lift and/ or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to squat, bend, twist, push/pull.
  • Ability to stand/walk for long periods.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
  • Work in extreme environments outdoors throughout the year.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud during events.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
  • Park Services, custodial, janitorial, landscaping, or similar experience preferred.
