ABOUT THE ROLE

This role supports the smooth and accurate execution of purchasing and product costing processes. You’ll play a key role in maintaining data integrity across systems and supporting the wider Supply Chain team with day-to-day coordination activities, helping Obex deliver better clinical outcomes for NZ patients.

Core responsibilities:

  • Supporting product costing processes, ensuring accuracy and timely updates
  • Managing purchase orders, supplier communications and maintaining accurate product and supplier data.
  • Providing inventory analysis and reporting, enabling data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Collaborating with teams to ensure accurate inventory, strong inventory mix management, and cost efficiency.
  •  Supporting demand planning activity and contributing to supply chain improvement initiatives.

What you bring:

You’ll be energetic and self-motivated with great attention to detail and a can-do approach to challenges and tasks.

We are looking for:

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Excellent communication and planning abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Exposure to purchasing, costing, or supply chain is desirable.
  • Experience with Power BI, Netstock, MYOB Exo, and working with quality systems or documented processes is desirable.
  • Experience in the healthcare or medical device industry is desirable.
