Job Description

Location: New York,New York,United States

Responsible for overseeing the cost management process for production. This includes analyzing costs, establishing cost standards, developing cost control measures, and implementing cost reduction strategies. The costing manager works closely with various departments to ensure that costs are accurately recorded to meet company margin goal.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Analyze and monitor costs to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for cost savings.
• Establish and maintain costing for all RTW styles initial through production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate cost allocation and reporting.
• Prepare, manage, and report gross margin analysis.
• Lead initial costing meetings with the merchandising team.
• Develop and implement cost reduction initiatives and monitor their effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company requirements related to cost accounting.
• Provide regular cost performance reports and updates to senior management.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Strong background in apparel costing, with extensive knowledge of high-end designer garment costing and manufacturing.
• Must possess advanced Excel skills and be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and organized.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, with the ability to effectively present costing analysis and reports to senior management and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
• BlueCherry experience a plus.

$95,000 - $105,000 base salary (This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this NYC - based position. The base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience and qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to other AO employees.)
