Job Description

As a Cost & Value Engineering Manager, you play a decisive role in shaping product competitiveness and long‑term cost leadership. You work at the strategic intersection of Engineering, Sourcing and Operations, influencing design decisions, defining cost frameworks and steering complex supplier development programs. With a deep understanding of value drivers, you guide teams and stakeholders toward robust, data‑driven decisions that directly impact product strategy, profitability and industrialization success.

YOUR TASKS

  • Conduct advanced product and component market analyses to deliver competitive benchmarks and strategic cost transparency
  • Lead high‑impact sourcing programs for new product developments and set ambitious, achievable cost targets aligned with business and technical requirements
  • Develop and oversee supply chain ramp‑up plans, ensuring supplier capability, qualification, production readiness and industrialization stability
  • Drive value engineering for current products, identifying design, specification and process levers that unlock significant cost‑down potential
  • Define cost‑reduction targets, establish structured project governance and ensure disciplined execution across functions
  • Consolidate and report program status, value engineering impact, benchmarking insights and progress to senior leadership
  • Establish and institutionalize a design‑to‑cost methodology, ensuring Engineering, Sourcing and Operations consistently align to defined cost drivers

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, engineering or a comparable analytical discipline with a strong strategic orientation
  • Minimum five years of procurement or strategy experience in the wind sector or a comparable complex industry environment
  • High proficiency in English plus advanced capabilities in data management and Excel to drive complex cost analyses
  • Proven track record leading cross‑functional cost or sourcing programs with both technical and commercial dimensions
  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to assess value drivers, influence design decisions and challenge assumptions at senior levels
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills with the personal authority to drive alignment across diverse functions
  • Structured, proactive and business‑driven mindset with clear leadership potential and a strong sense of ownership
