We are seeking talented project professionals with diverse backgrounds and experience levels in project management to join ExxonMobil Global Projects. Bring your expertise and leadership potential to help shape world-class projects and become a trusted subject matter expert within our global team.
ExxonMobil Global Projects is seeking a highly experienced Cost & Schedule Advisor to support and strengthen delivery of world class projects across our portfolio. We are looking for a senior professional with 20+ years of experience who brings deep, proven expertise in estimating, advanced project controls, planning, and capital project development and execution. This position plays a key role in bringing insights to the stakeholders regarding the cost and schedule estimate, risk areas/vulnerabilities, and opportunities. In this senior advisory role, you will provide technical validation and assurance from the earliest stages of project estimating through full funding. You will lead the development, review, and challenge of conceptual, pre FEED, and detailed estimates, ensuring that cost and schedule estimates are robust, defensible, and aligned with project scope, risks, execution strategies, and industry benchmarks. You will evaluate schedule logic to ensure the project’s planning and sequencing are realistic, integrated, and aligned with execution strategies. A strong understanding of the owner’s perspective is essential, including the ability to recognize how cost, schedule, and risk decisions shape project strategy, capital efficiency, and overall portfolio competitiveness. You will routinely partner with project managers, functional specialists, and senior stakeholders to provide expert guidance, influence decision making, and strengthen project assurance processes. Ideal candidates have extensive experience supporting large scale, complex capital projects in a global environment, working across diverse cultures, regulatory frameworks, and execution models. You should be comfortable stepping in as a technical authority—able to rapidly assess cost, schedule, and project controls maturity, identify gaps, and implement improvements without extensive onboarding. If you are a seasoned cost and schedule professional ready to apply your expertise to guide major projects toward predictable, competitive, and safe outcomes, we invite you to join a team committed to delivering industry leading project performance.
