Job Description

Standard cost development by model year for Manufacturing Plants;

Analyze, update and determine material costs within the Model Year(s).

Comply with corporate requirements and internal controls (SOX).

Perform Product Cost Study (PCS) activities for Mexico Manufacturing plants (Engine, Stamping and Battery Plants)

Analyze the cause of manufacturing variances, including material usage, overhead spend, labor, volumes and work with multiple teams to correct issues as they arise.

Process improvement initiatives; process definition, accounting, reporting metrics, book to stock calculation, new product releases, on hand inventory valuation, lead BOMs and routings, forecasting of WIP revaluation, cycle count program, scrap, surplus and obsolete.

Ensures bill of material standard costs and cost structures of the End Items are accurate. Providing support monthly, quarter and annual financial processes and reporting.

Prepare and analyze reports of standard/actual costing, budget variances, key performance metrics

Comply with internal control procedures already established by head headquarters (for Mga US, Canada and México) to ensure integrity and consistency of financial reporting and risk management.

Qualifications

Basic:

  • Experience in developing the on-hand inventory analysis reports and analyzing variances, internal knowledge required. Reporting.
  • Demonstrated analytical capabilities, with a proactive approach and strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with internal areas Mexico and US.
  • Ability to plan, develop, and implement projects
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Stellantis systems, office tools and copilot (AI).

Preferred:

Experience in Manufacturing cost, desirable.

  • Accountant or related professional degree.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of finance experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in cost or accounting
  • Demonstrated analytical capabilities, with a proactive approach and strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well with cross-functional teams, as well as highly detail-oriented, self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Results oriented, must possess the ability to plan, develop, and implement projects
  • Knowledge in corporate systems: CMIS, Stock Status, PentaSap, EBOM, MPCS, CHAMPS, SIR, mainly.
  • Microsoft Office tools and (AI) copilot.
  • English over 85%
