Job Description

Cost Invoicing (AR) Specialist

Keep costs moving. Keep business moving.

At ING, we believe people should spend less time dealing with unnecessary complexity and more time focusing on what matters most. Behind that philosophy is a finance team that helps keep our operations running smoothly across the globe.

We're looking for a Cost Invoicing (AR) Specialist who enjoys working with numbers, solving discrepancies, improving processes, and collaborating with stakeholders across different countries. If you're someone who takes pride in accuracy, enjoys investigating issues, and wants exposure to global finance operations, we'd love to hear from you.

Role Summary

As a Cost Invoicing (AR) Specialist, you will support end-to-end invoicing activities, ensuring costs are validated, invoices are prepared accurately, and billing records are maintained in line with internal controls and business requirements. You will work closely with finance, operations, procurement, and business stakeholders to resolve discrepancies, support financial reporting, and contribute to process improvements.

About the Team

You will join COO Finance, the team responsible for the centralized processing and reporting of accounting events globally for ING Bank. The Manila hub continues to expand its role in supporting global finance operations, creating opportunities to work on increasingly complex and diverse activities across international markets.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Prepare, review, and issue accurate cost invoices based on agreed billing schedules and requirements.
  • Validate recharge costs, intercompany charges, project expenses, and other billing inputs before invoicing.
  • Investigate invoicing discrepancies, reconcile variances, and coordinate resolutions with key stakeholders.
  • Maintain billing records, audit trails, supporting documents, and financial data.
  • Produce management information reports, dashboards, and billing-related analyses.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
  • Partner with business teams to gather cost information and manage invoicing-related queries.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, and enhance billing accuracy.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in invoicing, billing, accounts receivable, cost control, or similar finance functions.
  • Strong understanding of accounting concepts such as accruals, cost allocation, and revenue recognition.
  • Advanced attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial systems. Experience with ERP platforms is an advantage.
  • Confidence communicating with stakeholders across different functions and cultural backgrounds.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or CFA are a plus.
  • Banking industry experience is an advantage.

What We Offer

  • Opportunities to work on global finance processes and collaborate with international stakeholders.
  • Continuous learning, development programs, and career growth opportunities.
  • A culture built on trust, collaboration, and personal accountability.
  • Exposure to complex financial operations that help shape the future of banking.
  • The freedom to grow your career while making a meaningful impact in a global organization.
