1) Standard cost development (Model Year) for Mexico Assembly Plants.
2) Update and determine material costs within the Model Year according to the corporate requirements and internal controls (SOX).
3) Analyze the root cause of variances, including material usage, direct labor and overhead spend and volume, and working with colleagues to correct issues as they arise.
4) Perform Product Cost Study (PCS) activities for Mexico Assembly plants.
5) Process improvement initiatives: process definition, accounting and reporting metrics, new product releases, inventory controls, BOMs and routings, budgeting and forecasting, cycle count program and metrics.
6) Prepare and analyze reports of standard/actual costing, budget variances, product profitability, key performance metrics.
7) Ensures bill of material standard costs are accurate. Provide support of monthly financial processes and reporting.
8) Comply with internal control procedures already established to ensure integrity and consistency of financial reporting and risk management.
9) Manage the record retention program for Mexico Locations: requisitions, PO, GRIRS, destructions.
Qualifications
*Minimum of five (5) years of finance experience.
*Experience in developing inventory analysis reports and analyzing variances.
*Internal control knowledge required.
*Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Outlook.
*Knowledge in Corporate systems: CMIS, Stock Status, ICBS, PentaSAP, EBOM, MPCS, SIR, CHAMPS, mainly.
*Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills required.
*Highly detail-oriented, self-motivated and able to work independently.
*Ability to work well with cross-functional teams.
*Results-oriented, must possess the ability to plan, develop, implement and measure results.
