Job Description

Focus:

Specializes in estimating costs, reconciling Schedule of Rates (SORs), and maintaining cost-related documentation.

Responsibilities:

Lead cost estimation projects, ensuring accuracy and reliability of cost estimates

Submit budget requests

Maintain cost & budget trackers tracking

Approved quantities

Unit rates

Acceleration costs

Maintain approved overtime logs

T&M Sheets (rework costs);

Star Rates

Free Issued Material

Incentives

Detailed direct and indirect costs

Ensure efficiency and adherence to SOPs

Maintain accurate project completion progress and estimated completion dates trackers

Schedule and attend weekly reconciliation meetings and closeout meetings; with vendors and SAS personnel

Maintain and update a historical tool costs tracker

Identify any findings or discrepancies and report them to SAS Management

*MUST HAVE HIGH LEVEL EXCEL SKILLS

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction, accouting, or finance is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of estimating experience.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data functions).
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical mindset.
  • Good organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication (verbal / written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
