
We’relooking for a Cost Analyst to provide specialist cost, commercial and financial(non accounting) support across our Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) frameworks. This role plays a key part in ensuring costchallenge, value for money and strong commercial governance across complexsupplierand delivery frameworks.
Working closely with framework managers,suppliersand internal stakeholders,you’llsupport tender activity, costassurance,commercial performancereportingand continuous improvement of commercial processes.You’llact as a subject matter expert, helping teams make informed, value-focused decisions.
• Supporting competitive tenders, mini-competitions, call-offordersand Best-for-Task resourcing withinDDaTframeworks
• Administering cost and commercial processes, ensuring compliance with legislation,policyand framework terms
• Providing cost and commercial SME input into evaluations,moderationand lessons-learned activities
• Supporting contract administration, cost capture and challenge of cost estimates and change requests
• Producing financial and cost performance reporting, dashboards and KPIs
• Supporting assurance, auditactivityand contract compliance acrossDDaTframeworks
• Ensuring supplierscomply withcost, contractual and reporting requirements
•Identifyingopportunities to improve, streamline or automate cost control and reporting processes
• Supporting BAU continuity across the wider Commercial Team
• Strong understanding of cost analysis, commercial and contract management principles
• Experience supporting tenders, cost control, contractmanagementor framework governance
• Ability toanalysefinancial and cost data toidentifyrisks,trendsand improvement opportunities
• Confidence working with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to challenge constructively
• Highlyorganisedand able to deliver quality outputs to tight deadlines
• Comfortable working autonomously while contributing effectively within a team
•Proficientin Microsoft Excel,Wordand reporting tools
