Position Status: Non-ContingentActive

Position Title: Cost Analyst

Location:Bagram AFB, Afghanistan

Security Clearance Level:Secret DOD Clearance

Food and Lodging:On-base housing and meals provided. Internet, MWR, and PX covered as well.

Position duties

Perform cost and pricing analysis in support of global logistics operations and supported areas. Specific tasks include but are not limited to the following: cost performance analysis, cost performance metrics, cost avoidance analysis, funding forecast analysis, cost variance analysis, identify cost estimating relationships, develop independent cost estimates, project planning estimates and proposal estimates, assist with lease verse purchase analysis, prepare written reports on analysis, provide supporting documentation and participate in cost review meetings.

Position Requirements

• BA/BS or higher and 3 to 10 years of cost analysis experience OR
• Associate Degree and 7 to 10 years of cost analysis experience
• Ability to function independently
• 40-hour work week, plus 36 hours of straight time additional hours per week
