We are looking for experienced and highly motivated Cost Analyst to join our growing finance team. In this role, you will work closely with EMEA manufacturing sites, manage cost-related issues, and assist site management with budgeting and forecasting processes.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for local site teams and ensure smooth communication across Manufacturing, Finance, and Business Management on all cost-related matters.
  • Coordinate and lead stakeholder interactions, addressing cost issues and providing timely solutions.
  • Handle ad-hoc cost analysis requests and take appropriate actions to support decision-making.
  • Analyze production variances across multiple dimensions, prepare accurate reports, and highlight key findings.
  • Identify recurring variances, communicate insights, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide clear visibility to Finance and Manufacturing on product costing and overhead allocation issues.
  • Execute cost control activities at plant and country level, identifying opportunities for optimization.
  • Manage month-end closing and reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion in line with the closing calendar.
  • Maintain and regularly review process documentation for accuracy and compliance.
  • Support budgeting processes, including preparation, standard cost analysis, activity rate reviews, and follow-up actions.
  • Address additional cost analysis requests as required.

Required skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in finance field, data analysis, and cross-functional communication.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Proficient in data processing and analysis, including advanced use of pivot tables.
  • Experience with SAP is a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with operational processes and/or manufacturing environments is considered a plus.
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.
