As Cost Accounting Technician you will be a part of Global Cost Accounting team. You will be located in Katowice and work in hybrid model of work. You will be reporting to Senior Manager, Global Cost Accounting located also in Katowice.

Your main responsibility would be to ensure the proper valuation of Rockwell Automation's Worldwide Inventory as well as proactively ensure the accuracy of individual plant manufacturing process transactions by monitoring activity and initiating corrective action.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Define the standard cost of materials for all SAP locations globally
  • Verify costing issues and solutions
  • Verify, report and escalation of any discrepancies related to standard cost and address them to the related departments
  • Material Master data analysis and changes in the records affecting costing.
  • Create and prepare weekly and monthly reports
  • Support the month end close process.
  • Participate in physical inventory audits
  • Global Annual Cost Roll activities

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance and accounting

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in the accounting or finance department (AP, AR, GL)
  • Fluency in English
  • MS Excel (intermediate) skills and ERP knowledge (SAP preffered)
  • Openness for periodic short-term travel conducting physical inventory audits
