About Wynn Al Marjan Island:

Wynn Al Marjan Island will be the first integrated resort in the UAE. Set to open in 2027, the resort will be located 50 miles from Dubai International Airport in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. The resort will offer 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges, and bars, a theater, and a beach club. It will feature multiple swimming and wading pools, a five-star spa, a salon, a shopping promenade, and a celebrations and events center.

About the Position:

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Cost Accountant to join our Inventory Control Team.

The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:

• Track and validate inventory transactions including receipts, transfers, and returns
• Ensure journal entries and general ledger entries are posted correctly
• Perform cost variance analysis and investigate discrepancies
• Maintain accurate costing records for all inventory items
• Prepare daily and monthly inventory and cost reports
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities related to inventory control operations
• Assist in preparing accruals and reconciliations for inventory accounts
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and UAE financial regulations
• Support internal and external audits with documentation and analysis
• Implement cost control measures to reduce waste and improve efficiency
• Work closely with receiving, stores, procurement, and F&B teams to align costing practices
• Assist in recipe costing and yield testing for items stored or processed on property
• Provide financial reports to support management in operational decision-making

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Minimum 3–5 years in cost accounting or inventory control, preferably in hospitality or a high-volume inventory environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; certification in inventory or cost accounting is a plus
• Proficiency in ERP and inventory systems (e.g., Oracle, BirchStreet)
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills
• Experience in managing ledgers, inventory costing, variance reporting, and reconciliation
• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic or other languages are an advantage
