How you will make an impact:

The Life Sciences and Laboratory Products Group (LSLPG) within Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Cost Accountant IIinSan Jose, Costa Rica.The Cost Accountant will be a key partner and support all businesses intracking, controlling, and recording adjustments for Demoinventory and GIT. This role will also providetimelysupport for E&O, Cost Roll, and CMV processes.

Whatyou willdo:

• Track and depreciate Demo inventory forNA Leadbusinessesin reconciling Demo inventory account balances and ensure the correct addition and timelyretirement of Demo inventory.LeadPhysical Inventories of Demo inventory as neededReconcile all Demo inventory accounts each month.

• Prepare journal entry to recordglobalE1Intercompany Goods In-Transit (GIT) during the monthly closeReconcile all GIT accounts during closing.

• Supportthe Cost Accounting TeaminE&O,CMVandGlobal Cost Rollprocesses,including the loading oflarge amountsof data intodifferent ERP systems

• Build reporting templates and perform ad hoc analyses as assigned by the Finance Director, Ops Finance, or the businesses.

• Perform other related duties asrequiredand/or assigned.

How will you get here:

Requirements:

• Advanced College Bachelor student related with the position or 5 years of experience in similar positions

• B2+ English Level

• Experience in Cost Accountingand Manufacturingis preferred.

• Experience inJDEdwardsE1and SAP ERP systems isrequired, preferably in Costing

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Proficiencyin Excel advanced formulas and PowerPoint

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Must be able tointerface effectively atall levels anddemonstrategood judgment, and tact and diplomacy with internal customers. Self-initiative, strongorganizationskills, and a positive attitude are helpful.

• Experience working in a matrixed organization is preferred.

• Minimal travelrequired
