As an Accountant, you will analyze financial information and prepare journal entries to record assets, liabilities, profit/loss transactions, and other financial activities for the organization. This is not a remote position; candidates must be willing to work in a hybrid manner.
Responsibilities:
Actively participate in assigned accounting and month-end closing processes under US GAAP
Perform accounting activities as assigned
Prepare month-end journal entries for closing, general ledger account analysis, and balance sheet account reconciliations in Blackline
Collaborate with Site Personnel and BSC regarding fixed asset issues and other accounting activities within your area of responsibility
Assist with the resolution of issues that could impact the timely month-end closing process and communicate promptly with the Accounting Supervisor
Familiarize yourself with and follow all corporate accounting policies within your area of responsibility
Adhere to all SOX procedures
Complete quarterly reports as assigned, including Site Analytics
Perform other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
BS or BA degree in a relevant field
Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders
Confident user of MS Office, particularly strong Excel skills
Basic knowledge and experience using ERP systems; SAP knowledge is helpful
Keen to build positive relationships
Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail
Flexibility and ability to drive process improvements as needed
