Prepare, compile, and analyze financial information for proper presentation in various financial reports of the company.
Essential Job Functions include, but not limited to, the following:
Prepare, maintain, and analyze the Costing module.
Analyze cost records to determine distribution of costs for various divisions of management and production.
Review and update Cost Accounting procedures.
Prepare and analyze the valuation and reporting of month end/year end inventories (Work in Process, Finish Goods, Subcontracting, Purchased Parts).
Support AFM's in the quoting process.
Manage and analyze Accounting Job budgets as it relates to the Quote Log for cashflow purposes.
Review AFM quotes and and assign Accounting Jobs accordingly per the quote workflow process.
Create, track, and close Accounting Jobs as it relates to build projects, tooling, prototypes, and engineering changes.
Add, dispose, and maintain the assets attributes while producing the required reports from the fixed asset system that support the company and local government requirements.
Conduct timely and complete performance evaluations of direct associates if applicable.
Assess subordinates skill sets, current and future development needs, and take steps to mentor and develop them appropriately if applicable.
Assist in financial audits.
Assist in writing and updating procedures for all responsibilities.
Identify and train a back-up(s) to manage key tasks when absent.

Qualifications

Bachelors of Science Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
Two or more years of costing experience in a manufacturing environment working with an automotive customer base preferred.
Understand the quoting process and standard costing
Proficient with Microsoft applications (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Effective written and verbal communication skills and problem solving ability.
