- $61,425 - $91,900 ( please note that this is an estimate and actual pay will vary depending on experience, qualifications, and professional certifications.)
- Timely and accurate preparation of weekly and monthly financial statements, including journal entries.
- Participate in the calculation and delivery of the annual budget
- Timely and accurate preparation of both standard reporting requirements and ad hoc requests for groups such as: Toronto Site Departments, ICP Corporate, and Internal/External Audit
- Analyze variances between actual and budgeted expenses, providing insights and recommendations to ensure accuracy and completeness of the period end financial statements published for use by the leadership team, and investigate any large variance and input appropriate journal entries as required
- Reconcile various general ledger balance sheet accounts to ensure the integrity of the financial data:
- Verify the authenticity of each amount that makes up the balance and investigate and resolve discrepancies found
- Input journal entries as required based on reconciliation
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Professional accounting designation & business degree, or equivalent experience
- Knowledgeable in the financial needs of the organization (both corporate & operations)
- Ability to work independently
- Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- High attention to detail with a strategic focus
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple objectives and prioritize assigned tasks (deadline oriented)
- Process oriented with knowledge or experience with J.D. Edwards, TM1, and Cognos
- Strong communication, influencing, and networking skills combined with the ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues and clients alike
