Leidos’ Defense Systems Manufacturing Sector is seeking a Cost Account Manager (CAM) to join our Indirect Fire Protection Capability Tomahawk and BADS programs at our Platform Integration Facility located in Huntsville, AL.
This position will manage manufacturing programs and control accounts for the assembly, integration, and test content associated with a (3) major programs. The CAM will own the planning, monitoring, and statusing of the content in the control account and the health of each program. The CAM will support and partner with the manufacturing organization to establish schedule and cost positions, develop and report variance rationale, and develop courses of action to maintain performance to the program plan. The manufacturing content in this control account includes mechanical disassembly, component fabrication, platform final assembly, and acceptance testing. This position will be partnered with Manufacturing and Program leadership to develop material for recurring internal and external customer reviews. This person in this role will collaborate with the Manufacturing Program Integrator and local Site Leadership to communicate program progress, constraints, risks, and potential mitigation plans.

Primary Responsibilities
Accountable to the PM and customer to deliver the scope associated within the control account(s) at the agreed cost, schedule and technical objectives.
Managing schedule, cost, and technical performance against the baseline of the control account(s) including managing resources.
Aggressively managing the risk and opportunities in the control account(s).
Weekly reporting of schedule and cost performance of the control account.
Analyzing schedule and cost performance, developing variance rationale and recovery plans , as needed.
Partnering with Manufacturing management and shop personnel to develop courses of action to maintain program schedule and cost baselines.
Coordinating near term schedule and execution plans with Manufacturing.
Supporting proposal activities and business development opportunities.
Participation in program reviews.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in technical or business discipline with 8 or more years of experience in managing or supporting manufacturing projects.
Working knowledge of EVMS and scheduling processes.
Previous experience with developing cost and schedule baselines for manufacturing projects and reporting recurring schedule and cost performance to those baselines.
Demonstrated experience analyzing manufacturing performance on a recurring basis through the life cycle of a program.
This position requires knowledge in the development, maintenance, and/or tracking of: Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB), the change management process, the work authorization process, forecasting Estimates at Completion (EACs), and implementing corrective actions.
Candidate must be a resident of North Alabama area or willing to relocate to Huntsville – North Alabama, AL area.
Must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance OR meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Three or more years of previous management of a manufacturing project or program.
PMI/PMP Certification.
Manufacturing Engineering, Production Control, Master Scheduling, or previous Cost Account Management experience.
MBA or advanced technical degree.
Familiarity with Deltek Costpoint accounting software.
Familiarity with electronic Manufacturing Execution Systems.
Previous experience on manufacturing programs/projects that include Welding, Fabrication, Assembly, Integration, and Final Acceptance Testing.

Pay Range $92,300.00 - $166,850.00
