WHAT YOU’LLDO

A Cosmetologist delivers a luxurious, personalized experience by providing high‑quality hair and nail services that leave guests feeling refreshed, confident, and well cared for. This role upholds the highest standards of professionalism, creativity, and attention to detail while consistently meeting Four Seasons standards, policies, and licensing requirements to ensure an exceptional level of service and guest satisfaction.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Anticipateguest needs,ascertainsatisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests

• Provide professional hair and nail services, including blowouts, haircuts, color services, updos, bridal and special‑event styling, manicures, and pedicures,in accordance withaccepted industry practices and established protocols.

• Perform all treatments with skill,proficiency, and a warm, pleasant demeanor while starting appointments on time and completing services within scheduledtimeframes

• Deliver personalized, gracious, and professional service that is attentive and responsive to each guest’s individual preferences and needs.

• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness byproperly cleaningand sanitizing all salon areas in compliance with state board regulations and property guidelines.

• Educate guests on proper hair and nail care, recommendappropriate products, and promote retail offerings while following product usage and inventory control standards.

• Uphold a clean, organized, and welcoming spa environment and actively promote all services, products, and programs of Four Seasons ResortLāna‘i

WHAT TOBRING

• Successful candidate mustpossesslegal work authorization in United States

• The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours adayand scheduled days and times may vary based on need. Holidays and weekends availability isrequired

• Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB)clearance card

• Hawaii State Cosmetology Licenseisrequiredfor this role(CPR Certification asrequiredfor licensing)

• Ability to stand for extended periods,lift upto 50lbs, and push/pull as needed during shifts

• Prior experience working as a hairstylist and nail technician in the hospitality industry or in a high-end salonenvironment
