As a Corrosion Technician III, you will develop core skills and knowledge to conduct electrical surveys, perform atmospheric corrosion inspections, and electrical isolation tests.

What you will do:

  • Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot natural gas pipeline facilities, including cathodic protection systems, corrosion control methods, and pipeline integrity technologies.

  • Ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of assigned facilities.

  • Conduct electrical surveys, atmospheric corrosion inspections, and electrical isolation testing.

  • Maintain and monitor cathodic protection equipment and related systems.

  • Identify pipeline components (pipe, valves, fittings) and assess system conditions using measurement tools.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and contractors while ensuring compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements (e.g., PHMSA, EPA) through adherence to SOPs and O&M manuals.

Who you are:

  • A High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of directly relevant training and experience.

  • Is a certified tradesperson or certified technical designation.

  • A valid driver’s license.

  • Reside within 30 miles of the assigned reporting location.

  • Can perform physically demanding activities in all types of weather conditions.

  • Are able and willing to work overtime, on weekends, be on call and standby, and travel overnight as required.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.
