Corporate Well-Being Coordinator - Grafton, WI
As part of the Learning & Development team, this role partners closely with Human Resources, Safety and Operations to develop programs that improve employee health, reduce workplace injuries, increase engagement, and cultivate a culture of safety and well-being. Leveraging a background in kinesiology or a related health science, the Corporate Well-Being Coordinator applies evidence-based principles of movement science, ergonomics, injury prevention, and physical wellness to help employees perform their jobs safely while supporting long-term health and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support employee well-being programs that align with organizational goals and employee needs.
- Assist in planning and implementing initiatives that promote physical, emotional, social, financial, intellectual, spiritual, and environmental well-being.
- Promote employee participation in wellness programs through communications, educational materials, and engagement activities.
- Support Human Resources and Safety with wellness initiatives by assisting in identifying employee health trends and preventive opportunities.
- Coordinate with Safety and Operations to support ergonomic assessments, injury prevention efforts, and safe work practices throughout manufacturing operations.
- Assist in coordinating stretching, warm-up, conditioning, and movement education programs designed to help reduce musculoskeletal injuries.
- Organize and coordinate wellness classes, workshops, health challenges, educational seminars, and awareness campaigns, including scheduling, registration, and event logistics.
- Serve as the primary contact for instructors and guest speakers by coordinating schedules, participant counts, room setup, and other event details.
- Provide employees with wellness resources and educational information on topics such as nutrition, physical activity, stress management, sleep health, tobacco cessation, chronic disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle habits.
- Track wellness program participation, collect employee feedback, and assist in preparing reports to evaluate program effectiveness.
- Maintain wellness program records, participation data, and reports while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with applicable privacy regulations.
- Assist in creating and distributing wellness communications, promotional materials, newsletters, and educational content.
- Research and share current wellness trends, best practices, and evidence-based resources to support ongoing program development.
- Participate in health and safety committee meetings and assist with initiatives that promote a healthy and safe workplace culture.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Health Promotion, Public Health, Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Health Education, Occupational Health, Human Resources, or a related field required.
- One to three (1–3) years of experience coordinating wellness, employee well-being, health promotion, fitness, occupational health, or related programs preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred but not required.
Certifications (Preferred)
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
- Certified Wellness Practitioner (CWP), Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES), Certified Health Coach (NBC-HWC), Group Fitness Instructor, or other wellness-related certification preferred.
- Ergonomics or injury prevention training is a plus.
