
Job Duties: Vice President, Trading with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, New York. Price and execute secured and unsecured funding trades, any second order risks associated with funding trades, and build relationships with Sales, Operations, Engineering and Structuring teams to facilitate client activity and experience. Monitor daily trading activities, manage market risk, and operational risk. Drive innovation through automation and process enhancements. Collaborate with strategists and engineers to develop models and automated approaches to pricing, hedging, and managing risk. Train junior team members on pricing and risk.
Job Requirements: Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Statistical Practice, Computational Finance, Economics or related quantitative field and three (3) years of experience in job offered or a related trader role OR Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Statistical Practice, Computational Finance, Economics or related quantitative field and five (5) years of experience in job offered or a related trader role. Must have three (3) years of experience with a master’s degree OR five (5) years of experience with a bachelor’s degree with the following: executing and pricing funding and derivative products, such as repos, borrow pledges, total return swaps, or interest rate swaps; managing and hedging risks associated with funding products; developing trading strategies and facilitating client activities in various funding products; coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams to improve pricing models and trading workflows; applying understanding of funding and derivative markets to inform decision making; automating trader workflows and analyzing large financial datasets by developing tools, such as VBA and Python, to manipulate data efficiently; and understanding various regulatory liquidity and capital metrics.
Salary Range: Annual base salary for this New York, New York -based position is $210,000-$270,000.
