
We are seeking a highly motivated, intellectually curious Officer to join the Corporate Strategy team. The Officer will contribute to complex strategy projects by conducting rigorous research and analysis, developing fact-based insights, and helping translate findings into clear implications that inform actionable recommendations. Strong candidates will bring analytical rigor, sound judgment, intellectual curiosity, and a commitment to high-quality execution. Typical projects may include enterprise and business strategy development, market and competitive intelligence, client segmentation and market sizing, market entry or exit, product and client positioning, profitability, and investment prioritization.
The Corporate Strategy team plays a central role in shaping State Street’s future and translating enterprise priorities into strategic choices and action. Across the globe, institutional investors rely on State Street to help them manage risk, respond to challenges, and drive performance and profitability. The team helps shape the firm-wide strategic direction, evaluates the organization’s most consequential strategic questions, and provides objective, data-driven insight across State Street’s businesses to support decisions by senior management and the Board.
This is an opportunity to join a small, high-impact team with direct exposure to State Street’s senior management. Officers contribute directly to the analyses and materials that inform enterprise decisions, while developing broad knowledge of the firm and its strategic agenda. The group has a strong track record of developing talent that advances into leadership roles across the firm.

As an Officer on the Corporate Strategy team, you will:
These skills will help you succeed in this role
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with a strong record of academic achievement
3+ years of relevant work experience; strategy consulting or corporate strategy experience is preferred, particularly within financial services
Experience conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis, market research, and competitive assessment
Strong interest in financial services and the ability to build knowledge across State Street’s businesses
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
$65,000 - $113,750 Annual
