Job Description

To support the effective delivery of the bank’s Foundations strategy by coordinating project implementation, administering funding initiatives, and establishing a robust Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) framework.
The role is responsible for leading day-to-day M&E activities, including tracking project performance, conducting site visits, and producing impact reports, while providing operational and administrative support to the Corporate Social Investment Manager. Ensures strong governance and accountability, enabling the Foundation to deliver measurable, sustainable impact aligned with its strategic priorities and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

  • Develop and implement Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) frameworks, tools, and templates for all Foundation projects.
  • Track project performance against defined objectives, outputs, and outcomes.
  • Conduct regular site visits to verify implementation and assess impact.
  • Collect, analyse, and interpret project data to inform management decisions.
  • Prepare periodic M&E and impact reports for Management and Trustees.
  • Monitor project sustainability and long-term outcomes.
  • Maintain a central database of Foundation projects and impact metrics.
  • Ensure alignment of projects to SDGs and donor or internal reporting requirements.
  • Identify lessons learned and recommend improvements to project design and delivery.
  • Support end-to-end management of Foundation projects from approval to closure.
  • Coordinate with beneficiaries, NGOs, partners, and service providers.
  • Track project timelines, deliverables, and budgets.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping for all projects.
  • Support due diligence processes for funding applications.
  • Monitor compliance with funding terms and conditions.
  • Prepare reports, briefs, and updates for internal stakeholders and Trustees.
  • Maintain accurate records of Foundation activities and expenditures.
  • Support budget tracking and reconciliation processes.
  • Assist in preparation of Board papers and presentations.
  • Ensure proper filing and audit-ready documentation, including statutory returns.
  • Liaise with beneficiaries, NGOs, community leaders, and implementation partners.
  • Support coordination of Foundation events and initiatives.
  • Represent the Foundation during site visits and stakeholder engagements where required.
  • Support adherence to internal policies and governance frameworks.
  • Assist in implementing audit recommendations, particularly related to M&E and impact assessment.
  • Identify and escalate risks related to project delivery, compliance, or reputational exposure.
  • Contribute to strengthening internal controls and accountability mechanisms.
  • Provide operational support across all Foundation activities.
  • Assist with strategic initiatives and special projects.
  • Act as backup to the Corporate Social Investment Manager where required.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Line Manager.
