Job Description

Key responsibilities: 

  • Manage the Bankwise "Infrastructure Project" including new build, A&A and fitting out, which involves hands-on operations, coordinating internal stakeholders and overseeing external units, supervising consultants, contractors and vendors 
  • Follow up on the construction work and related administration tasks of the infrastructure project
  • Monitor the performance of the design and project management consultants and vendors, including but not limited to time management, cost management, and quality of project execution 
  • Responsible for coordinating the internal requirements of the Bank and the external units, consultants, contractors, and vendors 
  • Supervise and ensure that the project is completed in compliance with the bank's established processes and requirements within the budget, timeline and compliance.
  • Familiar with the construction infrastructure projects, including space planning, fire and security requirement, procurement process and building regulations, etc. 
     

Requirement:

  • Degree holder of an architecture, surveying, building services installation or related disciplines
  • Over 10 years of work experience, including experience in management of infrastructure projects; prior experience working in the banking industry is preferred 
  • Membership of the Hong Kong Institute of Architects, the Hong Kong Institution of Surveying, the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, or equivalent professional qualifications is preferred  
  • Proficient in using a variety of relevant computer software and techniques (including: MS Office, AutoCAD) 
  • Possess strong organizational, planning, execution, and coordination abilities, with effective communication and negotiation skills 
  • Good command of Chinese and English with excellent analytical, communication and written skills; Fluent mandarin is preferred; 
  • Professional knowledge of building regulations, construction techniques, and electromechanical systems
