British American Tobacco Romania has an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Senior Business Analyst - AME in Bucharest

This is a locationagnostic position, open to candidates throughout Europe.

The role of Corporate Senior Business Analyst is to support the governance, delivery and optimization of business and technology initiatives across global and regional platforms (SAP, SuccessFactors, and other enterprise solutions) for Corporate functions (Finance, HR, Legal and Regulatory Affairs).

The role serves as a critical link between Business Functions, Centres of Excellence, DRBUs & End Markets, different IT teams to help managing the regional corporate roadmap. The successful candidate will ensure changes are effectively prioritized, governed, funded, tested, and delivered with minimal business disruption while driving collaborator alignment and continuous process improvement.

This position requires strong business analysis, stakeholder management, governance, and delivery coordination skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a complex global environment and collaborate across multiple functions and regions.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Partner with the Regional Corporate Lead to drive the regional corporate technology roadmap, translating business priorities into impactful transformation initiatives and measurable outcomes.
  • Understanding the global platforms governance, coordination and successful delivery of business and technology changes across Finance, HR, Legal, Regulatory and other enterprise platforms.
  • Act as the domain expert and understand and adjust processes / scope to reflect changes in business models and corporate structures and transactional responsibilities. Also manage change governance, release management and business process improvement, ensuring alignment with global standards and guidelines.
  • Build strong partnerships across Corporate Functions, End Markets, DRBUs, Business Partners, Centres of Excellence and IT teams to deliver complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Own demand management and portfolio governance, ensuring initiatives are prioritized, funded, resourced and driven in line with strategic objectives and business value. Key Contact points for regions and IT Functions, Centre of Excellence (CoE) and Enterprise Services Solution centres for escalation management.
  • Provide leadership with clear portfolio insights, executive reporting, and proactive management of risks, dependencies and delivery performance.
  • Drive project execution and business readiness activities, ensuring solutions are effectively tested, adopted and implemented with minimal disruption to operations.
  • Champion continuous improvement, seeing opportunities to streamline processes, strengthen governance and improve the return on enterprise technology investments.

What are we looking for?

Essential

  • Demonstrable experience delivering and supporting global and regional business and technology driven transformation initiatives, operating model changes. Demonstrated ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable solutions and drive successful implementation with measurable business outcomes.
  • Solid background in project delivery, business process analysis, optimisation & change management and Governance with experience coordinating cross-functional team members across multiple markets and functions. with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and build credibility with senior leaders, business partners and technology teams.
  • Good communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive alignment across diverse teams and geographies.
  • Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related subject area.

Preferred

  • Knowledge of enterprise platforms such as SAP ECC/S4, SAP ECP, SuccessFactors and AI driven tools with experience working in a business-facing technology role within a global organization.
  • Practical knowledge of project delivery methodologies such as Agile, PRINCE2, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
  • Experience in leading and influencing teams within a matrixed, multi-country, and multicultural environment with competing priorities, risks, dependencies, budgets, and resources within a complex global environment
