About the Function:
Corporate Security sits within the Legal function. Its mission is to protect Diageo's people, assets, reputation and future development through setting policies and standards and monitoring their implementation, by providing decision makers with expert guidance and services
A deep deterioration of security situation in Mexico, could affect our people, logistic operations, product availability and the business performance in the country and globally.
About the role:
Act as a strategic advisor on security, risk management, and business continuity.
Design and execute security training and awareness culture programs.
Lead with autonomy, initiative, and a results-oriented mindset.
Develop, motivate, and supervise teams and vendors.
Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with corporate standards (BCP, compliance, security).
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and lead the comprehensive security strategy for IMC Mexico.
Protect people, assets, business operations, and reputation.
Act as a strategic business partner by enabling secure growth.
Ensure operational continuity through risk management, BCP/BCM, and crisis management.
Risk management: conduct market Risk Assessments, lead the risk committee, and analyze critical positions.
Logistics security: oversee imports, national distribution, warehouses, and co-manufacturing operations; manage the transportation control tower; lead meetings with carriers; mitigate theft and loss risks.
Business continuity: lead BCP, BCM, and the Crisis Management Team (CMT).
Commercial security: lead security for events, activations, and product launches.
Brand protection: support and/or coordinate investigations related to counterfeiting, smuggling, and brand misuse.
Corporate governance: review contracts, security standards, and vendors.
Stakeholder management: liaise with authorities and law enforcement; provide executive protection support and coordinate visits.
Security culture: training, coaching, and awareness initiatives.
Operational management: KPI tracking, budgeting, corporate investigations, and continuous improvement.
Experience / skills required:
8–10 years of experience in corporate security, logistics, or law enforcement.
Experience in crisis management, supply chain operations, and high-risk environments.
Experience in multinational companies (preferred).
Knowledge of BCM, risk management, and investigations.
Advanced English proficiency.
Strong leadership, analytical thinking, decision-making, and confidentiality skills.
Availability to travel and provide 24/7 support.
