We know how companies can unlock potential through effective risk management. Our clients rely on us to craft strategies to quantify, mitigate, and transfer risk, taking advantage of our specialist industry experience and unparalleled market know-how. The result is a new way of embracing risk that drives superior results.

The Role

This role leads the regional M&A Transactional Risks business, driving growth in line with firm strategy. Key responsibilities include overseeing the pipeline, strengthening client and market relationships, and ensuring high‑quality delivery of W&I, Tax, and Contingent Risk solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Growth

  • Manage the regional pipeline and partner with Broking Leaders on prioritization and execution.
  • Maintain high standards of advisory and placement within tight timelines.
  • Maximize revenue from new and existing clients.

Collaboration & Cross‑Functional Engagement

  • Build a collaborative culture across regional and global M&A teams.
  • Work with CoEs, other LoBs, and global offices to support cross‑selling and innovation.
  • Contribute to M&A initiatives and global best practices.

Operational & Organizational Management

  • Provide financial and operational oversight in line with Group standards.
  • Deliver regular reporting and insights for leadership.

Client & Market Relationships

  • Understand client structures and needs, and engage key decision makers.
  • Build strong relationships with insurers and underwriters, particularly in London.

Major Accountabilities

  • Develop and align mid‑ and long‑term M&A strategy.
  • Deliver high‑quality advice and tailored insurance solutions.
  • Drive collaborative business development across teams and regions.
  • Support product innovation, cross‑selling, and organizational initiatives.
  • Provide timely reporting and governance support.
  • Strengthen client and insurer relationships to enhance placement outcomes.

At WTW, we trust you to know your work and the people, tools and environment you need to be successful. The majority of our colleagues work in a ”hybrid” style, with a mix of remote, in-person and in-office interactions dependent on the needs of the team, role and clients. Our flexibility is rooted in trust and “hybrid” is not a one-size-fits-all solution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or MBA (or equivalent).

  • Professional credentials such as legal qualification, ACII, or local equivalent preferred.

  • Significant experience in M&A or a closely related industry.

Skills

  • Strong leadership with proven people‑development experience.

  • Solid problem‑solving, planning, and budgeting capability.

  • High business and financial acumen with understanding of corporate strategy.

  • Proven ability to win new business and meet challenging sales targets.

  • Excellent stakeholder management in a matrix environment.

  • Strong facilitation skills with an inclusive, collaborative approach.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.

  • Able to represent the company confidently with clients and market partners.

  • Holds all required regulatory licenses and permissions.
