What You Will Do
- Lead in-court restructuring processes, including Chapter 11 proceedings and related motions.
- Prepare and support briefing for hearings, ensuring comprehensive documentation.
- Manage plan and disclosure statement workstreams to facilitate effective restructuring outcomes.
- Navigate restructuring-related disputes and contested issues with strategic precision.
- Execute distressed transactions through the bankruptcy process, including overseeing sale processes.
- Collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams, integrating finance, M&A, litigation, and tax expertise on distressed transactions.
- Drive negotiated restructurings and workouts, focusing on liability management transactions and covenant relief.
Ideal Candidate Background
- 3–6 years of experience in corporate restructuring or related legal fields.
- Proven proficiency in both in-court and out-of-court restructuring processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on high-stakes negotiations.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex legal concepts clearly.
Preferred
- Experience with distressed transaction execution and strategic alternatives.
- Familiarity with liability management transactions, including exchange/tender processes.
- Background in cross-disciplinary collaboration within a legal or financial context.
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary for this role ranges from $365K to $435K, with a competitive benefits package that supports both professional growth and personal well-being.
