
Join us as a Corporate Relationship Manager in Asset Finance
This role will see you managing and developing a defined portfolio of customers within Asset Finance to support our business growth ambitions
We’ll look to you to build rapport and trust with our corporate customers to identify, understand and meet their financial needs
This is an opportunity to hone your relationship management capabilities and raise your profile across the bank in this fast paced and varied role
This is a hybrid role with an expectation to go in to the office a minimum of 2 days a week
We’ll look to you to manage a designated portfolio of customers, while designing and implementing a business strategy to maximise opportunities within Asset Finance. As our focus is always on the customer, you’ll proactively enhance customer satisfaction and advocacy by serving our customers well and always giving them access to the service and products that are best suited to their needs. In addition, you’ll be responsible for the holistic ownership of the customer relationship, making sure that transactions are completed in a timely manner and meet our customers’ expectations.
You’ll also be:
Analysing financial information to present complex, properly structured credit applications
Providing debt-structuring solutions which balance customer needs with risk
Negotiating and executing legal documentation, providing a coordinating point for senior colleagues and professionals
Preparing well researched and comprehensive briefs and pitch books for customers and prospect meetings
Delivering business goals on a regular, timely and consistent basis
We’re looking for someone with outstanding customer relationship skills and a strong understanding of corporate sector activity. You’ll also need market awareness and an appreciation of the economic and financial outlook, and experience of working with the major strategic models used by corporate entities to evaluate their operating environment and plan their future development.
You'll need to hold a Diploma in Lending Skills, or equivalent, or be willing to complete the qualification within 18 months of starting the role.
Additionally, you’ll have:
Proven risk assessment, monitoring and control skills in a broad range of customer situations
An in-depth knowledge of the full range of corporate products and funding solutions
Highly developed interpersonal, negotiation and networking skills gained in a sales environment
A strong knowledge of credit processes and policy
