The Corporate Relations Coordinator supports the organization's strategic relationships with the Business Council and other sponsoring organizations. Assisting the Director of Corporate Relations, the Coordinator is responsible for administrative tasks related to management of the 65+ member Business Council. The Coordinator helps to maintain files and calendar invitations related to tracking $2M in revenue from the Business Council and other sponsorships, the delivery and utilization of Business Council membership benefits and the development of Business Council-sponsored programming at conferences and through webinars.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the logistics of the Business Council meetings, including scheduling, supporting agenda development, preparing presentations and reports, recording meeting minutes and track follow-up action items.
  • Manage invoicing processes for membership and sponsorships.
  • Draft, update and maintain documents describing Business Council membership -benefits and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Track Business Council memberships and benefit selections. Draft, circulate and summarize survey results.
  • Draft semi-monthly Development Reports for presentation to the Board of Directors at their quarterly meetings
  • Review slides and resources developed by sponsors to ensure content is appropriate and contains actionable information for legislators
  • Support quality control of conference material by reviewing signage and meeting book proofs for conferences to ensure accuracy of sponsor logos, session titles and speakers
  • Represent the organization at conferences and events, including travel as needed.
  • Provide general support to the Director of Corporate Relations and perform additional duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and education
  • 0-2 years of experience with an emphasis on fundraising, outreach and development

COMPENSATION INFORMATION

The salary range for this position, based in Washington, DC, is $58,000 to $60,000. This salary range is subject to change based on work location and market conditions.
