A Day in the Life of a Corporate Media Relations & Public Affairs Manager:
Corporate Media Relations:
• Lead nationwide corporate media relations and act as focal point for print, electronic and digital media to maintain positive narrative in collaboration with Public Affairs and Corp Comm team.
• Lead & manage Corporate PR firm for media engagement and crisis communication to enhance public opinion of the corporate brand.
• Lead engagement with national and regional press clubs across country.
• Provide continuous support to Head Office (HO) for advocacy & communication support to partner organisations including chamber/association networks like; Pakistan Dairy Association (PDA), and Baby Food & Nutrition Council (BFNC).
Public Affairs (South with National institutions):
• Act as focal point and maintain relationships with national institutions (State Bank, Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce & Industry - OICCI, Pakistan Business Council – PBC, Swiss Business Council - SBC)
• Engage key opinion leaders and institutional stakeholders to strengthen the company's reputation. Identify and monitor issues in south region to influence public perception.
• Engage provincial governments in Sindh & Balochistan (Health, Environment, Labour, Rural Development etc), line departments and local administration for providing policy advocacy and visibility on administrative issues concerning Supply Chain, Manufacturing & HR matters etc.
• Serve as focal point to engage stakeholders for implementing and monitoring sustainability and Creating Shared Value projects and events in the South region.
• Represent Head Office, including MD/CEO Office, Head of Sales, Head of Finance & Head of HR in public forums.
