Job Description

Overall governance
• Ensure understanding of marketing department policy, in order to understand tasks needed to be carried out according to function’s policies and frameworks, as well as to ensure alignment and compliance with legal regulations and with the company’s overall direction, standards, and governance.
• Support periodic revision of policies, standards, guidelines, work processes and procedures that are relevant to corporate branding work, to ensure efficient operation and alignment with company’s policies & compliance with relevant governance.

Function-related accountabilities
• Conduct market research and gather data, including consumer trends and public opinions and attitudes toward the company, and perform basic analysis to generate useful insights, in order to provide support and guidelines for brand strategy improvement.
• Assist senior members in developing brand identity and brand manual/handbook, which include brand message, graphical standards, and core branding attributes, in order to enhance and align understanding of the brand positioning to all stakeholders.
• Perform basic activities in designing, developing, and cascading brand communication strategies and brand communication plans, including features, standards, and how employees will interact with customers to convey the desired personality and perception, in order to align brand perception and image.
• Perform basic branding communication activities in accordance with plans to promote brand awareness and enhance brand image.
• Assist senior members in monitoring value and utilization of tools for total brand experience at all touchpoints among the target segments/audiences, to ensure that desired messages are efficiently portrayed.
• Assist senior members in monitoring and evaluating performance of brand strategies and brand communication activities, in order to assess the effectiveness of strategies and initiatives, as well as to identify areas of improvement to allow revision of strategies and approaches accordingly.
• Assist senior members in maintaining and building good relationships with relevant external parties such as vendors to provide guidelines on brand communication and all touchpoint arrangements, in order to ensure that consistent brand perception, messages and experiences, in which are in alignment with brand strategies.
