Shriners Children’s is excited to continue investing in its nationally recognized pediatric therapy services and rehabilitation program across the organization. The Corporate Manager of Therapy Services - Care Standardization will lead locations in identifying, developing, and implementing best practices and measurements in the therapy services and rehabilitation departments across the organization. The position will help to ensure that patient care is of the highest quality with equitable outcomes regardless of program location. The ideal candidate will collaborate with a variety of stakeholders across the enterprise to develop and implement quality programs consistent with Shriners Children’s vision.

This is a remote position with the expectation of scheduled site visits to Shriners facilities throughout the year.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and systematizes current practice with standardized outcome measurements in therapy for core clinical pathways
  • Collaborates with Shriners Children’s Medical Group for guidelines and protocol development for seamless patient care transitions through multiple venues of care
  • Leads rehabilitation and therapy services departments in outcome usage specific to patient diagnoses
  • Evaluates, implements, standardizes, and monitors outcomes for specialized growth programs within rehabilitation and therapy departments
  • Develops location staff by way of facilitating and developing meaningful programs (clinical advancement, professional development, skill acquisition, etc.)
  • Develop and coach location leaders in contributing to departmental and programmatic growth to meet organizational objectives

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5 years of leadership experience specific to rehabilitation/therapy services or a closely related field
  • Program development experience within a leadership role
  • Skilled in presentation development and delivery
  • Master's Degree in related field

Preferred:

  • Experience in teaching or instructional effort in colleges, universities, or other applicable institutions
  • Experience in pediatrics
  • Experience in clinical pathways, outcome measurement, and continuous quality improvement
  • Knowledge of business applications in therapy services and rehabilitation with understanding related revenue cycle
  • Licensure and degree in health services field
