Job Description

Corporate Internal Audit function aims to enhance and protect organizational value by providing independent, risk-based, and objective assurance, advice, and insights. This helps improve the effectiveness of governance, risk management, and control processes, ultimately adding value to the organization’s operations.
Responsibilitiesa)     Perform Internal audit assignments across the cargo-partner groupb)     Perform and control full audit cycles including risk management and control management to evaluate operation effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable internal directives and regulationsc)     Develop audit programs to assess internal risks and controls; review and perform tests to ensure comprehensible documentation of audit findingsd)     Perform data analysis to identify useful information and support audit or investigation.e)     Evaluate internal controls to give reasonable assurance that there are no signs of mismanagement, resource misuse or fraudf)      Work with management and other audit team members to define action plans which will drive efficiencies and reduce identified risksg)     Develop audit reports and ensure regular follow-up of the agreed action implementation statush)     Participate in ad-hoc consulting and investigative projectsi)       Assist in developing audit plans as per Schedule.

Education Qualification

• Minimum of a Bachelor degree in economics /commerce or related area
• Relevant professional certifications are a plus like MBA, CWA, CIA.

Experience

• Working experience in internal/external audit for a minimum of 2 years
• Preference: Prior experience in the freight forwarding industry

Skills

• Proficient working knowledge of English for business environments
• Proficiency in MS Office suite (excel, word and Power point)
• High attention to detail and strong analytical, critical-thinking and decision making skills
• Excellent active listening, written communication and verbal communication skills
• Strong project management skills
• Desire to be a team player who is able to work independently when necessary
• Willingness and ability to travel
