Are you a corporate lawyer with an interest in corporate governance and shareholder activism?

Join Osler’s market-leading corporate governance practice. Our team provides many of Canada’s leading public and private companies across a range of sectors and institutional investors with strategic advice on a range of corporate governance matters and develops creative solutions to complex questions of corporate and securities law. We also work as part of Osler’s multi-disciplinary shareholder activism and risk management and crisis response practices to helps boards and senior leadership teams to anticipate and respond to these business-critical situations.

Position Requirements

• A minimum of 2-4 years of general corporate and securities law experience gained from a leading law firm in Canada, the United States or the United Kingdom;
• Experience in corporate governance or a strong interest in focusing on corporate governance, public company disclosure and shareholder activism;
• A self-starter attitude who embraces challenges and thrives in a fast-paced setting;
• Exceptional client service skills and business acumen;
• Excellent communication and drafting skills, and attention to detail;
• Strong academic credentials.

Compensation

Compensation offered will be based on a variety of factors including year of call, job-related knowledge, education, skills and experience, ranging from $155,000 to $200,000.
