The Executive Compensation teamoperateswithin ISS Governance Data and focuses on the analysis of executiveremunerationpractices and corporate governance disclosures across listed companies in Europe and the MENA region. The team reviews publicly available company filings to assess how executives are compensated, how incentive structures are designed, and howremunerationaligns with shareholder and governance expectations. The environment combines business research, analytical thinking, and close attention to detail within a fast-paced international setting.

As a Corporate Governance Analyst, you will become an integral part of the Data Operations team. Within the broader corporate governance and executive compensation space, you will support the delivery of high-quality compensation data and analysis used to help institutional investors make informed voting and investment decisions.

The position is best suited for candidates with an interest in corporate governance, executiveremuneration, capital markets, regulatory disclosures, and business research.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assistingour analysts byclosely inspectingpublicly disclosed documents of listed companies.

  • Performing analyses about executiveremunerationand pay practices for your assigned markets.

  • Complying withISSmethodologyon pay for performance analysis and qualitative assessment of listed companies.

  • Review annual reports,remunerationreports, and other corporate disclosures to extract relevant executive compensation data.

  • Analyze compensation structures for executive and management board members, including annual bonuses, long-term incentive plans, severance arrangements, and governance-relatedremunerationpractices.

  • Apply internal methodologies consistently to ensure high-quality and standardized data delivery across markets and companies.

  • Work with internal Excel-based templates and data systems to input andvalidatecompensation-related information accurately.

  • Summarize complex disclosures into concise and structured data points for use by internal research teams.

  • Support coverage of the French market and potentially Benelux and MENA-related companies.

  • Operate in a deadline-driven environment during proxy season (typically February–June), where prioritization and accuracy are particularly important.

  • Collaborate closely with colleagues acrossother teams

Required Qualifications

  • Fluent in English (both spoken and written) and French, Arabic is a plus

  • A relevant Bachelor's orMaster’s degree in Economics, Business, Finance, or Law, orin the process of obtainingsuch a degree.

  • An interest in corporate governance, executive compensation, capital markets,researchand data collection.

  • A good eye for detail.

  • Good command of Excel.

  • The ability to assimilatelarge quantitiesof information, workindependentlyand take initiative while also being a team player.

  • An organized and structured mind.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Comfortable working with structured methodologies andmaintaininghigh levelsof accuracy under time pressure.

  • Strong research and analytical thinking skills, even if gained through academic projects, internships, or administrative experience.

  • Work independently whileremainingcollaborative within an international team environment.

  • Previousexposure to research, accounting, compensation/rewards, governance, legal, or detail-oriented analytical work.
