Job Description

◆Position Overview

We are under development for establishing the event function within Communications Department which manages corporate events, such as Pop-ups, PR events, large-scale HJ events (i.e. clients and press), exhibitions, as well as internal meetings and conferences. The function is basically mirroring Event Team under Marketing & Communication Team in NY.

Therefore, we seek individuals, who are able to create and execute the above events with excellent communication and project management skills, managing budgets, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail. Candidates should be passionate about creating memorable experiences that align with our brand and objectives.

◆Key Accountabilities

  Event Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive event plans for corporate events - Pop-ups, PR events, large-scale HJ events (i.e. clients and press), exhibitions, as well as internal meetings and conferences etc.).
  • Manage various aspects of event planning, including venue selection, vendor negotiations, budget management, logistics, guest management, catering, entertainment management, and on-site execution.
  • Create event timelines and ensure that all deadlines are met.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (PR, Marketing, DCO, CRM, Retail, etc.) to ensure that events are aligned with company-wide goals.
  • Work with other members of the Communications team to develop and implement event strategies such as social media campaigns, email marketing, and public relations activities.

  Budget and Vendor Management:

  • Create and manage event budgets, verify cost effectiveness, and ensure compliance with allocated funds.
  • Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure the best terms and conditions.
  • Identify, research, and select appropriate vendors (caterers, venues, decorators, entertainment, etc.) based on event requirements and budget.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in planning and managing events focused on corporate and/or PR events – in Luxury Segment is must, good with jewelry and watches
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Experience in budget management
  • Ability to bring teams together and strong leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Creativity and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
