As our **Corporate Design Manager / Specialist**, you will shape how the Döhler brand is experienced across global touchpoints. From strategic presentations and international campaigns to digital platforms, exhibitions, print materials and packaging communication, you will translate ideas into distinctive, consistent and high-quality visual experiences.

You will work at the intersection of brand, marketing, communication, customer experience and sales. Acting as both a creative concept developer and a hands-on designer, you will take projects from the initial briefing through to final production.

Your role

  • Develop and execute compelling visual concepts from initial briefing to final delivery, including creative routes, mood boards, storyboards, layouts and production-ready artwork
  • Design high-quality brand and communication materials across digital and physical touchpoints, including campaigns, websites, social media, email marketing, presentations, publications, events, exhibitions, internal communication, print and packaging-related applications
  • Create outstanding presentations and visual narratives that translate complex strategic, commercial, technical and scientific content into clear and engaging stories for different audiences
  • Take responsibility for professional image research, selection and creation as well as image editing, retouching, compositing, colour correction and visual quality enhancement
  • Contribute to the continuous development of Döhler’s Corporate Design, including imagery, typography, colour systems, illustration, iconography, information design, layouts, templates and scalable visual design systems
  • Ensure a consistent, distinctive and high-quality brand experience across all channels, formats, markets and organisational units
  • Develop modular templates, toolkits and reusable design assets that enable international teams to create efficient and brand-compliant communication
  • Use generative AI, automation and emerging creative technologies responsibly to accelerate ideation, image creation, prototyping, asset adaptation and design production while maintaining creative quality and brand integrity
  • Advise internal stakeholders on visual communication, branding and design solutions, actively challenge unclear briefs and translate business requirements into effective creative outcomes
  • Collaborate closely with Brand, Marketing, Communications, Customer Experience, Sales and other international stakeholders as well as external agencies, photographers, illustrators and production partners
  • Coordinate multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring clear priorities, reliable timelines, transparent communication and consistently high execution standards
  • Prepare and quality-check files for digital publishing, print production and other media applications, considering technical specifications, accessibility, usability and production requirements
  • Maintain well-structured design files, templates and asset libraries, including clear naming, versioning, documentation and usage guidance
  • Stay informed about relevant developments in corporate design, visual culture, digital communication, AI-powered creative workflows and emerging technologies, and translate them into meaningful improvements for the Döhler brand

Your profile

  • A degree or professional qualification in Communication Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Media Design or a comparable discipline
  • Several years of professional experience in graphic, corporate or brand design, ideally gained within an international company, branding agency or multidisciplinary creative environment
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking and high-quality execution across corporate identity, digital communication, print, presentations and integrated brand applications
  • Excellent understanding of typography, layout, grid systems, visual hierarchy, colour, imagery, composition and information design
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, as well as strong PowerPoint skills
  • Experience with collaborative and digital design tools such as Figma. Knowledge of After Effects, Premiere Pro, motion design, 3D applications or other creative tools is an advantage
  • Strong expertise in professional image editing, retouching, compositing and the creation of visually consistent image worlds
  • Practical experience with generative AI tools and prompt-based creative workflows, combined with a critical understanding of quality, consistency, copyright, data protection and responsible use
  • The ability to move confidently between creative exploration, structured design systems and precise production work
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage several projects and stakeholder requirements simultaneously
  • A proactive, collaborative and solution-oriented mindset with the confidence to explain, present and defend creative decisions
  • High attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility for the quality and consistency of every deliverable
  • Very good written and spoken English - German or further language skills are an advantage
