We are hiring a critical team member to join the Legal team as a Corporate Counsel, with a primary focus on commercial contract. This role will play a key part in supporting the company's business operations and growth by partnering closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, particularly in areas involving customers, suppliers, and hardware-related supply chains. This includes customer agreements, vendor and supplier contracts, and other commercial transactions supporting product development and delivery.

This role requires the ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, manage multiple priorities, and provide practical, business-oriented legal advice. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, able to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and contribute to building scalable legal processes.

What you will do

  • Provide strategic legal support to various departments, including sales, supply chain, finance, people team, operations, engineering and other internal groups across the company

  • Collaborate and advise internal clients on commercial transactions, including corporate investment, joint development projects, licensing deals and associated agreements

  • Engage in contract drafting, review, and negotiations with vendors and critical suppliers, partners, and customers, including supporting international sales and territory-specific versions of sales and support contracts

  • Use excellent business judgment to assess legal risk while also thinking strategically and providing practical, business-oriented advice

Preferred Skills

  • Significant in-house experience working for technology organizations, preferably in semiconductor or hardware-related industries

  • Complex commercial transaction structure and drafting experience, developing and customizing novel agreements without use of templates

  • Experience supporting sales transactions and supply chain operations, including hardware procurement, manufacturing, or component supply agreements

  • Experience in corporate governance, compliance and associated filings and reporting

Qualifications

  • Comfortable juggling multiple tasks under tight deadlines

  • Strong writing and communication skills, including with executive-level communications

  • A passion for personal accountability and setting high standards is essential for success

  • At least 5+ years of law practice, including at least 1-3 year of experience in-house

  • Knowledge of commercial laws and experience developing, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial and licensing contracts with multi-national companies

  • Exceptional attention to detail

Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The annual base salary for this position in Washington is $100,000 - $180,000. The annual base salary for this position in California is $120,000 - $200,000.
