Salary: $150,000 - $160,000 + Up to 20% Annual Bonus + Benefits

Corporate Controller (CPA or CMA + Manufacturing Exp. Req.) Description

Our client in the industrial equipment industry is looking for a Corporate Controller to add to their team in Alsip, IL. In this role, you will report to the President and oversee accounting and financial operations across two subsidiaries and multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have Controller-level manufacturing experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and experience working with executive leadership. To be successful, you must be a tech-savvy financial leader who can leverage ERP functionality to improve processes and translate financial information into actionable business recommendations. Corporate Controller (CPA or CMA + Manufacturing Exp. Req.) Responsibilities

• Lead corporate accounting and financial reporting across two subsidiaries
• Oversee and mentor a six-person accounting team while ensuring quality of work
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash projections, and ongoing analysis of financial performance
• Maintain strong internal controls, GAAP compliance, audit readiness, and accurate reporting
• Manage cash, banking relationships, lines of credit, and related financial compliance
• Coordinate with outside firms on tax matters and compile required financial information
• Administer and optimize ERP and accounting systems to reduce manual processes
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support leadership decision-making
• Clearly communicate financial information and recommendations to ownership
• Drive business planning, operational efficiency initiatives, and financial strategies
• Conduct financial reviews and due diligence for acquisitions as needed

Corporate Controller (CPA or CMA + Manufacturing Exp. Req.) Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
• CPA or CMA certification is required
• 5+ years of Controller-level experience is required
• Manufacturing industry experience is required
• Tech savvy & ability to leverage ERP functionality to automate processes/reporting is required
• Advanced Microsoft Excel & analysis skills are required
