Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure Compliance Monitoring – Assist in reviewing investments and asset holdings to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, trust deeds, and internal policies.
  • Maintain Trustee Records – Ensure all trust documents, statutory meeting notices, and signed minutes are properly recorded and securely stored.
  • Facilitate Approvals & Transactions – Process approval requests from fund managers, administrators, auditors, and custodians within agreed timelines.
  • Conduct KYC/AML Reviews – Assist in conducting annual KYC/AML reviews for schemes under management and ensure due diligence processes are followed.
  • Monitor Regulatory Filings & Licenses – Support the preparation and timely submission of applications for trustee licenses and regulatory approvals.
  • Reconciliation & Compliance Checks – Perform regular reconciliations to identify and escalate any non-compliance issues for resolution.
  • Process Member Withdrawals – Ensure the accurate processing of member withdrawal payments in line with trustee mandates.
  • Audit & Risk Follow-ups – Assist in tracking and resolving audit and compliance review matters within stipulated timelines.
  • Billing & Fee Management – Support the tracking and collection of Trustee Services fees, maintaining an updated fees register.
  • Support Stakeholder Engagement – Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely responses to inquiries and requests.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor Compliance & Reconciliations – Conduct daily compliance checks on fund transactions and reconcile trustee accounts, escalating any irregularities.
  • Process Approvals & Requests – Handle approval requests from fund managers, administrators, and custodians, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Maintain Trustee Records – Update and securely store trust-related documentation, statutory notices, and meeting minutes.
  • Support Reporting & Stakeholder Queries – Assist in preparing trustee reports and responding to inquiries from regulatory bodies, fund managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Undertake any other tasks as assigned to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of trustee services

    ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, Economics, Law or Any Business-Related field
  • Professional Qualification-Any level of CISI (Certified Institute of Securities & Investment) is a Requirement
  • Minimum of one year in the capital markets industry.
