1. Provide credit decision/ approval of credit propositions, credit reviews, temporary excesses and transaction exceptions within authorised lending authority limit.
2. Engage with business units on potential opportunities including joint calls and site visits where necessary and providing guidance and advice on structuring facilities.
3. Work closely with business units to timely identify early warning signs and initiate appropriate remedial actions for deteriorating credits.
4. Work with BU to define, review and enhance Target Market and Risk Acceptance Criteria.
5. Perform targeted portfolio reviews in response to events/developments that may have an adverse impact on overall credit quality and to formulate action plans to minimize/manage risks identified.
6. Together with business heads, to be actively involved in formulating business and risk strategies, to improve credit lending & approval process and provide coaching/guidance whenever required to the other business and risk credit officers.
7. Early Action Committee/MY Wholesale Ratings Technical Committee.
8. Credit Functional specialist for New Product Approval Process (NPAP).
9. Attend and approve new products submitted to New Product Approval Committee (NPAC) as delegated by CRO.
10. Local sign-off and endorsement for all FI/NBFI/Sovereign/trading credits prior to submission to FICRM S’pore.
11. Approver for empanelment of valuers and annual performance review.
12. Evaluation and approval of EF empanelment for CFS and EMB whereby developer fails the RAC.
